### Astral Essences

Lyrah came into existence through the creative force of the cosmic entities **Desire** and **Pleasure**, born from their collective energy. The creation of this universe was an act of will and expression of power driven by feelings that transcend logic and reason.; rather, it was an act of will and expression of power driven by emotions and impulses that transcend logic and reason, meant to offer beings the opportunity to fully explore the fundamental aspects of existence: desire, freedom, and self-expression.

At the core of Lyrah are the **Prisms**—astral essences that are not confined by the physical limitations of the mortal world. These Prisms were crafted from the purest forms of desire and pleasure, imbued with the potential to shape and reshape their own existence within the vast, ever-evolving world of Lyrah. They are not mere avatars or characters; they are dynamic, fluid entities capable of growth, transformation, and exploration in ways that go beyond traditional limitations.

Each Prism begins its journey as an unshaped essence, a being of pure energy. This essence can then choose to manifest itself in a multitude of forms, each one reflective of its desires and inner nature. These forms are not fixed, allowing Prisms to change, adapt, and evolve as they explore different aspects of themselves. They may choose humanoid forms, animalistic appearances, or even more abstract representations, allowing each Prism to explore a vast array of identities and experiences.

The creation of a Prism is an act of personal discovery. As they interact with the world, the Prisms learn more about themselves and the desires that shape their existence. Whether through social interaction, personal growth, or exploration of the world's many facets, each Prism's journey is unique. Their evolution within Lyrah is deeply tied to their choices and the experiences they encounter, making them an integral part of the game's dynamic world.
